Welcome to our new Chair, Andy Wooler!
The UK arm of Ukraine Fundraiser 2022 was formed at the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine by Mike and Ann Hockham and they have between them made 11 aid runs through to Ukraine since then!
We have been greatly assisted by friends based in Germany too!
But it has become clear that if we are to raise the funding we need on an ongoing basis to sustain a monthly schedule of air runs, we need to be established formally as a Charity in the UK.
Andy Wooler MBA has now joined the team as Chairman, and is now underway preparing the organisation for registration with the UK Charity Commission. Andy has 15 years+ experience in a similar role with another registered Charity.
